If you’re connected to Amber Valley & want to bring people together, kickstart a new idea or have a go at something new…then the Movers & Shakers Community Fund is for you!
The fund will open in September and throughout September and October we’ll be hosting a series of Movers & Shakers drop-in info sessions so that you can find out more, chat with us, share your ideas and get support developing and sharing your application.
Behind the Movers & Shakers Fund is a group of six people from Amber Valley, the Movers & Shakers Community Panel. They will be working together over the next 6 months to learn, share and make decisions together about how to shape and share the fund. You can find out a bit more about the panel here.

- For people and groups with a connection to Amber Valley
- A total of £10,000 will be shared in round 1, through small pots of funding
- Decisions will be made directly by a group of local people working together
